Search engine optimisation

Fed up with the lack of traffic visiting your website?

We offer search engine optimisation services to make sure your web site gets to the top of the search engines (Google, Yahoo, MSN etc) for the keywords that potential customers are using. We use industry approved and ethical techniques to optimise your site. We research the keywords that people are using to find your product or service. We produce a web ranking report every month so that you can see the progress being made. We constantly monitor and update the optimisation in line with the latest search engine algorithms

These are the steps we go through as part of the Search Engine Optimisation campaign:

Understanding the business

The first step is for us to understand more about your business e.g. the products and services you are selling, your target market (domestic, business), the market geography (local, national, international), the competition (especially those using the internet to attract customers).

Analysis of keywords/key phrases

Keywords or keyphrases are what someone looking for your business will type in to the search engines. We are able to review how many people are searching for your business using those keywords/key phrases and therefore we can establish which keywords/key phrases will generate the highest levels of traffic (there is no point optimising a site for keywords that people don't actually use.)

Optimisation

Once the keywords have been established the site needs to be reviewed to see how the search engines will rank each of the pages on the site against each of the keywords. Typically not very well which is why you have asked for our help. It may be that small changes to your existing pages are all that is required but usually we will need to generate some additional "information" pages for each of the keywords. These are highly optimised pages where the content has been structured such that it matches what the search engine algorithms are looking for. These pages are added to the site but do not form part of the normal site navigation.

Search engine submission

For the search engines to find your site so that it can be ranked then they have to know your site exists. Each submission follows the guidelines of the particular search engine. We do not spam them. We also look to establish high quality links into your site which helps to get the search engines to visit your site and improve its ranking.

Regular review

Each month a report will be produced that measure the performance of the keywords against the major search engines. The optimisation has to be constantly reviewed and at times the "information" pages will need to be updated.

Please note we do NOT use any spamming techniques in our search engine optimisation. These can lead to your site being dropped out of the search engine indexes altogether.
